In this post we want to focus on the Objective 4: “Ensure inclusive, equitable and quality education for all”. This objective plays a fundamental role in building a more just and prosperous world. Generative Artificial Intelligence represents a fascinating aspect of Artificial Intelligence, focused on creating content: texts, images, videos, music, 3D... All of this is based on the use of advanced algorithms and machine learning models, which allow these systems to generate original and creative content by identifying patterns and taking advantage of previous data. In this way, they manage to imitate results similar to those produced by human beings. In addition, since the end of 2022, its use has become popular with the launch of Chat GPT and technology is advancing at a breakneck pace. This allows thousands of people to be creating different ways of using this technology in different fields and one of them is in training.
Goal 4 of the SDGs focuses on ensuring a inclusive, equitable and quality education for everyone. To achieve this, several goals are set up until 2030:
These objectives are fundamental to promote quality and equitable education, empowering people with the necessary skills to face future challenges and build a more just and sustainable world.
How can the IAG help us achieve the goals set in 2030? From our point of view, we have never been at such an propitious time in which to move forward and think of solutions that we have never been able to do before. Some of these applications that will help us achieve the objective are:
Generative Artificial Intelligence represents a timeliness unique to promote Goal 4 of the SDGs and promote an einclusive, equitable and quality education for everyone. Through the creation of innovative educational content, the personalization of learning, the identification of learning patterns and the support of teacher training. The IAG must play a key role in the improvement of the global education system. However, we also have to say that we are faced with some challenges such as privacy, making responsible use of technology, researching the impact it will have on teachers, students and institutions, etc. But we are sure that with a careful, responsible approach and always thinking of all the people involved in the training, he will transform the lives of millions of people, paving the way to a future with more accessible training for everyone.
